ABOUT ME

In 1995, I met a healer, Marilyn Harper, who was making Prayer Feathers. I was drawn to their beauty and the tradition of using Native American Prayer Feathers to smudge an area, in the way Indians have done for centuries. I believe in the power of the bird energies and I learned from Ted Andrews’ book “Animal-Speak” as to what the different feathers meant. This book was a good basis for me but as my work evolved I was sometimes given other meanings for the feathers that were specific to the person it’s being designed for. I began by creating feathers with a certain energy, not yet knowing who it was for. I would find that an individual would pick up the feather at a fair, and were unable to put it down. I realized then, that this individual was whom I had made it for. I now design Intuitive Prayer Feathers, consciously pulling from the akashic records and the energy of a person’s name, most of whom I never met. My prayer is that I capture their true personality. I am American Indian of Cherokee descent but I was not brought up with any of “the ways”. Therefore, the Prayer Feathers are not traditionally made, although I cleanse each Prayer Feather in the traditional Native way by smudging before releasing it. I rely on the Spirit World for guidance, along with my intent, to incorporate the appropriate healing energies in each Prayer Feather. I was honored to display my Prayer Feathers at one of Ted Andrews’ workshops as an example of the use of his book.


I have been unlocking past lives and allowing individuals to discover their soul story since 1996. I studied with a master healer in the Midwest for four years removing etheric crystals. About a year into my studies, I read the book “Journey of Souls” by Michael Newton, Ph.D. and realized why it is so important for each of us to discover our past lives and the effect they have on us today. I access my client’s Akashic Records for the stories and personality of their soul. I only pull the information that is necessary for the client to know at this point in their life. My ancestor “Grandma Berry”, the original Blue Star Woman, assists me with knowledge from the spirit world. She was a healer in her time and asked me to use her name. I am an Usui Reiki Master and Reiki is included in sessions when there is past life trauma to the body. I am passionate about helping others discover what is in their etheric body and understanding the stories found there.

I have spoken at Holistic Fairs and held workshops and classes about etheric crystals and the varied energies of feathers, throughout the Midwest and California.
